Sir John Cass Redcoat secondary school is being partly refurbished and partly extended with new build accommodation.

 

The design solution aims to maximise the impact on the existing school with new flexible learning facilities, sensibly inserted to minimilise disruption, but unifying the existing and new buildings, whilst creating a new image to the community. The existing accommodation will be refurbished to meet the latest performance and education standards within the existing building envelope and structural frame.

 

New facilities include a new double height entrance space with state-of-the-art virtual learning equipment, new performance hall and music studios.
